Where to even begin? Teddy Pendergrass is a legend of mass proportions.

I can remember growing up and listening to his songs all day on a Saturday morning (that was when we would clean the house and have music playing all day). I’d also make a bet that it was one of his songs that my mom played when trying to teach me how to slow dance.

I remember I used to try scratching back in the day with Michael Jackson’s “Bad” or Heavy D & The Boyz “Big Tyme” on vinyl but Teddy Pendergrass’s “Workin It Back” was one vinyl that I wouldn’t lay my hands on. His music is timeless and will never be forgotten.
