I’ve been messing around with this thing on and off for about a week now. Not so much to try djing but more so because of the technology behind it.

Canadian Scott Schiller created http://wheelsofsteel.net, turntables that work within your web browser using CSS3, Javascript, and a little bit of Flash. You can load songs from Soundcloud and actually mix tracks, with cue points, pitch adjust, and scratching.

Now this is in no way like real DJing but I’m half-tech nerd and think it’s interesting that web technology has come so far to enable animations and the ability to play music without a full dependency on 3rd party applications & plugins.
