Kanye West – “Power” Video

It debuted last night and has the internet going nuts – Kanye West’s “Power”.

It’s the first single of his soon-to-be-released album (formally known as “Good Ass Job”) and is directed by Marco Brambilla. It seems to be based on Marco’s “Civilization” installation back from 2008.

Personally I like the video. Yeah it clocks in at just over 90 seconds in length but I couldn’t imagine watching the imagery for a full 5 minutes. This also reminds me of the “Coldest Winter” video that was released back in February.

Nonetheless, it’s a great track & a great video.

Kid Tronic & The Virgin

Virgin Airlines has began to fly out of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport and thankfully I’m one of the group of people who won a free flight (got to pay the taxes though) through Twitter.

Visually Amazing : The Shapeshifters – Helter Skelter

It’s been a while since my last post (I have a couple sitting in “Draft” mode but haven’t published them but after seeing this video, I had to put out a new post.

This video is just stunning!!! They way they mixed different mediums is amazing and work extremely well together! Plus the vocals form Steve Edwards really blends into the track well.
If you look at 1:46 you see some characters beating a certain DJs mask as if it was a piñata!! A little rivalry going on?

Oh ya, the song is great too!
