Woohoo! I’m part of a new monthly starting Friday July 29th, 2011 called “Tropical Bounce”!
It features myself & DJ Kid A as the monthly residences with a special guest every month.
We’ll be spinning Moombahton, Reggae, Latin House, and more!
For the first party we have Ballistik from the Plugged Not Thugged crew to slay the dance floor with Reggae!
The party takes place at Bunda Lounge (1108 Dundas St West, just east of Ossington Ave).
It’s $5 all night long and they’ll have drink specials all night

If y’all don’t believe me that Moombahton is taking over, here is another track to show it’s impending dominance. Check out this track & video from Tittsworth & Alvin Risk. I’m a little surprised at Tittsworth jumping on Moombahton but not really. He makes some great heavy bass tracks that are already at about the same tempo. Just natural progression.

Track Of The Moment: Major Lazer – German Elefant Killer
This popped up on Diplo’s Facebook Fan page yesterday and it’s an unreleased demo from the Major Lazer album “Guns Don’t Kill People … Lazers Do”. The track features vocals form the one and only Energy God himself, Elephant Man.
