Easy Sunday Listening : L-Vis 2990 & Neon Dreams via Fader TV
Here’s a little something to watch on this Sunday afternoon.
In this video courtesy of Fader TV from earlier this year, L-Vis 1990 & Neon Dreams collaborate on remixing Cassius’ “I Heart U So”. Below, you can see the official video for the original version
The Weeknd – Thursday [Mixtape]
For those who were under a rock (or were asleep), last night The Weeknd released his highly anticipated mixtape “Thursday” via his website (which subsequently crashed as everyone and their mama was trying to download). The 9 song opus continues to showcase his unique & mysterious ways, as demonstrated on the critically acclaimed “House Of Balloons”. This mixtape sonically & lyrically is pushing the limits of R&B. but to be honest I don’t hear anyone complaining. My favourite tracks from his latest offering are “The Zone”, “Gone”, “Rolling Stone”, and “Thursday”.
Just in case the website isn’t working, you can download the mixtape here. Below check out “The Zone” featuring Drake
Track Of The Moment: Willy Joy – Woman Like Me (Cousin Cole Remix)
The original track is one of my favourites that I play from time to time but now Top Billing is putting out an official remix EP of this amazing song!
Cousin Cole isn’t a familiar name to a lot of people, but this DJ/Producer out of NYC has his production game on point.
Take a listen to this Tech House drum filled track!

Beatface – We Don’t Need To Pretend (Official Video)
You’ve heard me talk about the song before but now the official video has hit the Interweb!!
Here’s the official video for “We Don’t Need To Pretend” from Toronto’s very own Beatface
Don’t forget to download the EP as well for other great songs (although this one is probably my favourite).
Track Of The Moment: Bart B More – Cry Baby feat. AC Slater
Don’t you just love it when music is relentless unforgiving ? That’s how I’m feeling about the new Bart B More EP “The Bass” that’s out on Secure Recordings.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Bart B More’s other work as well but I find that this EP has a little more of a darker tone but still gives the club something to bang to. Out of the 2 tracks on this EP, this one is my favourite (the other one is good too). It’s thick and loud but doesn’t go over board with the synths. Check it out and buy the EP!
