Easy Sunday Listening : L-Vis 2990 & Neon Dreams via Fader TV
Here’s a little something to watch on this Sunday afternoon.
In this video courtesy of Fader TV from earlier this year, L-Vis 1990 & Neon Dreams collaborate on remixing Cassius’ “I Heart U So”. Below, you can see the official video for the original version
Track Of The Moment: Bart B More – Cry Baby feat. AC Slater
Don’t you just love it when music is relentless unforgiving ? That’s how I’m feeling about the new Bart B More EP “The Bass” that’s out on Secure Recordings.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Bart B More’s other work as well but I find that this EP has a little more of a darker tone but still gives the club something to bang to. Out of the 2 tracks on this EP, this one is my favourite (the other one is good too). It’s thick and loud but doesn’t go over board with the synths. Check it out and buy the EP!
“Beat Jazz”
Check out this video by Berlin’s Onyx Ashanti. He developed his own synthesizer controller which he calls “Beat Jazz” which he can control different effects and notes depending on how he positions it (because of the accelerometers built-in).
This is amazing use of technology to create & enhance a performance artist’s work. I would love to see this guy perform with Flying Lotus or Nosaj Thing.

Track Of The Moment: The Weeknd – Rolling Stone
One of the best things about this song is that there’s no bass line. And depending on what you’re doing while listening to it, you can provide your own.
Check out this newly-leaked track from The Weeknd. It’s a nice light track you can listen to during a rainstorm (and given the type of weather we’ve been having lately, it’s a safe bet that you’d be listening to it during one).
Track Of The Moment: Donae’o – Check My Swagga Out (Skream Remix)
I’m not a huge Donae’o fan. His track Party Hard was a fun song and it crossed over from a UK track to the Soca heads but none of his other tracks have really caught my attention since. Except this one.
