My friend Matt Blair has been throwing parties/DJing in Toronto scene for many, many years. His newest party, Payday, is a monthly event that occurs at Augusta House (152 Augusta Avenue in Kesington Market). Usually it happens on a Friday but this month’s edition happens on a Thursday and I’m honored to be one of the DJs along with Splattermonkey and newcomer Vijay (alumni from one of Matt’s other parties, “Everyone’s A DJ”).

The night is pretty much old school everything – Funk, Soul, Disco, Dance, House, Hip Hop, and R&B.
Free before 11pm/$5 after, no dress code, good crowd, ample dance space – what more can you ask for right?
